What do Margaritaville University Ambassadors do?
The sole responsibility of MargU College Ambassadors is to enjoy and spread the Margaritaville lifestyle. Ambassadors are given the resources they need to work, relax and celebrate island style, and bring their friends and families along with them.
What are the requirements for becoming a MU ambassador?
There are few rules on our island but all ambassadors must be currently enrolled college students and have a GPA of 3.0 or above. See what we’re looking for here.
How do I apply?
When will I hear back about my application?
After applying, you will receive a confirmation email. Once we’ve had a chance to review the applications and if we believe you’re a good fit for the program, we’ll reach out with the next steps.
What is the Ambassador Roundtable?
The Ambassador Roundtable is a once a year event meant to celebrate and utilize the hard work and creative insight of top MargU ambassadors. Find out more here.
Is the college ambassador program paid?
The program is not paid, but ambassadors receive customized welcome kits full of awesome Margaritaville merchandise, receive personal discount codes for friends and family, gain professional career experience, are networked with ambassadors across North America, and have the opportunity to earn all- expenses paid trips to Margaritaville lodging locations.
I’m graduating college, what now?
No fear! Graduating ambassadors benefit from the Margaritaville University Alumni Association.
Is this U.S. only?
Not at all- We’ve had ambassadors all over the world.
Can there be more than one Ambassador per campus?
Definitely. Actually, there were once 11 ambassadors at Virginia Tech.
Is there an age limit to be an ambassador?
Nope. The only stipulation is an applicant must be enrolled in a degree earning program at an accredited college/university
