Margaritaville Ambassador of the Month: Meet Carissa
Mar 18, 2019
We’re proud that the ambassador program experience has helped land people jobs after or during college.
And, we’re thrilled with their efforts to both spread the lifestyle and make a positive impact in the community through countless charitable events and positive vibes shared with others.
One of the, on the down low, perks of the ambassador program is access to the License to Chill Lounge on the Jimmy Buffett tour. Hundreds of ambassadors, their friends and families have had an extra special experience at Jimmy’s shows.
Similarly, many Margaritaville College Ambassadors made the trek from campus to Broadway, NYC to enjoy complimentary tickets to Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical. We hope just as many make it out to see the show when it tours in 2019.
7% believe it or not. A lot of people apply to be college ambassadors. Way more than we expected... In fact, 1,000 people applied in the first 48 hours of the program’s conception in 2016.
Margaritaville University has been represented on 250+ college campuses and internationally in Antartica, Aruba, Australia, Belize, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, Fiji, France, Honduras, India, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, The UK, Vietnam, and on Semester at Sea.
“They live the Margaritaville lifestyle and share this fun, relaxed state of mind with their friends, family, classmates and communities.”
“Recent endeavors outside real estate include the Margaritaville College Ambassador Program, which began last year and had 250 total college ambassadors on 104 campuses across the U.S. and Canada.”
“By capitalizing on not only their relationship with his music but also on the lifestyle many college students and young 20-somethings long to live, he’s driving brand awareness and loyalty as the next generation comes into their early earning years.”
“Buffett has found the next generation of superfans on college campuses”
